The itinerary
Saturday 23rd January 2010
For those who have selected the flight option, arrive on scheduled Alaska Airlines flight from Victoria via Seattle arriving Phoenix International Airport
Hotel transfers via coach to Xona Resort Suites, about 30 minutes from Phoenix Airport
Welcome drinks and buffet dinner at 6:30pm in Hotel (food and drink included)
Sunday 24th January
Tee times at We-ko-pa—Saguarro course from 9:00am
Lunch on the veranda at the extraordinary We-ko-pa Club house
Monday 25th January
Free Day - relax by the pool or take a trip to Scottsdale’s Fashion Square, featuring 225 boutiques, galleries and department stores.
Tuesday 26th January
Tee times at the Kierland Golf course from 9:00am
Option for dinner at Kierland Commons Village. Filled with open air restaurants which spill out onto the wide Parisian style sidewalks. We recommend Zinc Bistro for that continental touch—and great value too!
You could also catch Steve Nash and the Phoenix Suns against Charlotte at the US Airway Center!
Wednesday 27th January
Tee times at Talking Stick Golf Club from 9:00am
Option for dinner in Scottsdale Old Town. We love Patsy Grimaldis. Food 4* . Atmosphere 4* Greatest wood fired oven pizza in town, also has a fantastic Tequila Bar....
Thursday 28th January
Free Day - more relaxing by the pool, or for the energetic, why not take a horse, jeep or hummer ride into the deserts of McDowell Mountain. Maybe you feel lucky and will find the Lost Dutchman Gold Mine…...
Friday 29th January
Tee times at Gold Canyon Dinosaur course. A slightly later start to give you time to enjoy a special breakfast on the outdoor patio overlooking this beautiful desert canyon.
Saturday 30th January
Free Day
Guests for the 2nd week arrive and we suggest either an evening at P.F. Changs on the Scottsdale Canal waterfront, or for those looking for some culture, you might be lucky enough to get tickets to see “La Boheme” this evening at the Phoenix Symphony Hall.
