18 holes today on the supreme challenge of the Strand course at Portstewart. It is an uncontested view that Portstewart has the best opening hole in Irish Golf. Well, here’s a secret – it might be the best opening hole in all of golf. Throughout the course, huge dunes are complemented by stunning views across the bay to the blue Donegal hills. We say again, bring extra golf balls…..

Ardglass has been compared to Pebble Beach for its location and its views, but it has many more holes adjacent to water than Pebble and it doesn't take 6 hours to play it, and costs 1/8th the green fee - judge for yourself, but you may well have a new firm favourite after today.

Sunday Sep 12th 2010
Hope you didn't have a late night as you face possibly the toughest test of golf in Europe at Royal County Down. In Tom Watson's words;“My advice to anyone playing this great course is to keep it very straight off the tee - stray from the fairways at your peril!

All good things must come to an end - this morning we leave via private coach for Belfast Airport. Jordan travels to Biarritz for the next leg of his European adventure. Do you have the stamina to join him!!

Royal County Down - possibly the best course in the world...
Ballyliffin: Just into Eire, this is a perfect location for two of the finest links courses you will find anywhere - and the newest creation, Glashedy Links, is probably even better than the old!.

Ardglass - surely a hidden gem if ever there was such a thing, and just a short distance from County Down, a perfect pairing!
