Happy New Year!
We've just returned from a great visit to the Palm Springs area and the Coachella Valley in California. What a fantastic climate in December, with temperatures ranging from mid 60s to high 70's. A golfer's paradise, with over over 125 courses, public and private, and all within easy reach of many excellent hotels. We toured numerous hotels and many golf courses in a busy 7 day schedule. The Indian Wells Celebrity course, home of the Skins Game in 2009 and a truly terrific public golf course, playable but challenging for all skill levels. The Players course is on the same property, and is also a superb layout. This is a great, even outstanding, 36 hole facility, not a housing development in sight!
